Repurposed Kenyan cotton Temari Kinchaku (drawstring) Purse, tkvu0009

This is a drawstring purse, call kinchaku in Japanese. The outer fabric is repurposed Kenyan cotton remnants from a shirt, I did clean and repurposed it. Inside is lined with red solid cotton fabric. The cord is Edo uchihimo from Japan, and I added wood beads for the accent. It is great for carrying your coin purses, keys, lip sticks, sanitary/toiletry items.. whatever you can think of! It is also great for carrying your earphones and cords for your phones/tablets/PCs. It is made to order, but I might have some completed ones as well. Please feel free to ask about availability if you need to rush your order.

*Each piece may look slightly different depending on the pattern placement of the fabric. **I do my best to make photos look true to color, but, colors may vary depending on the screen setting, monitor and/or browser. ***Because of the nature of handmade pieces, the size might be slightly varied. ****This is vintage material, because of its nature that there might be some small parts that have wrinkles or tiny spots etc. I will try my best to use only the finest part out of the whole piece of obi/kimono, but please consider that there might be the chance to find a tiny spot like that. I will be happy to send detailed photos if you are comfortable to see them before placing the order. :-)
